Welcome back to another week of food-filled fun and excitement around these parts :D
Today was my husband’s first day of school. He had to be in Nashville an hour after I left the city, so I didn’t cook tonight. Meemaw got very excited and said that on nights he is gone, we should get takeout together – LOL! She would!! Any excuse to not eat real food!!
I had to pick her up Burger King on the way home. I’m surprised she hasn’t turned into a Whopper Jr. yet, as much as she eats them. But that gave me the opportunity to swing by Chipotle, which I really enjoy (CB prefers our local version, Burritos). So it ain’t all bad.
IF was fairly difficult for me today. I was REALLY hungry at about 11am. Fortunately, we had a good stopping point in our project so we actually took lunch early. I ate my dinner at about 6:30 so I still managed to stay within my 16/8 fasting window.
Exceeded my protein goal (holy crap, that salad was 80g of protein!!), stayed under my carb limit, and kept below my calorie limit. Woohoo! Today was a very good day! IF makes it really easy to meet your macros. I hope I can sustain it throughout the entire week. Well… I’ll pretty much be forced to as long as I only pack my lunch and no extras, lol.
Tomorrow’s lunch is a very boring repeat of today’s, but dinner will be cooking away in the crockpot while I’m at work, so that’s exciting. Gym when I get off and then mock tender steaks with carrots and broccoli for dinner!
