I was literally halfway through writing a Facebook post about how I wasn’t going to post a blog today when I was like screw it, I have a few things to say.
Sadly, I only got one picture all day today. I didn’t photograph my morning tea or my post-workout protein shake because… well… they look the same every day and it’s pretty boring. I ate lunch on the road, and it was already dark, so I failed to get a picture of that (smoked bologna slabs from Whitt’s BBQ). Dinner, however, was fantabulous.
This was my first time cooking asparagus on the stove top, and, well… I kind of overdid it. Whoops. But I prefer my asparagus mushy over hard, so I ate it anyway. It still had a great flavor!
The cream sauce was just a tbsp of butter with equal parts cream cheese and sour cream, seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, and Italian herbs. It was delicious.

I ate slightly over my cal limit today, but it’s not bad – and I lifted, so I’m not going to worry about it. Came in just under my protein goal, but I couldn’t drink the second half of my protein shake. I was too stuffed by dinner. Was far below my carb limit, so that’s great. All in all, not a bad day.
Oh yeah, and I was down another pound today! This is addicting! :)
