Welcome back, everyone. If you follow me on Facebook, you will have seen that my Sugarbandit passed away last week. During the last bit of time we were traveling to the hospital, I did not keep keto. It just got to be too much to worry about what I was eating on top of everything else. And then, also, we’re southern – and southern funerals mean everyone and their momma delivers you food.
We are trying to piece our lives back together and regain some sense of normalcy, and eating carbs really does make me feel shitty. I’ve been bloated and super lethargic. I’m sure some of this bone-deep weariness can be blamed on the stress, but I know part has been due to my piss-poor diet as well. So we started fresh again today.
I went slightly over on calories today, but I planned on that as this was my first day back on keto. I wanted to give myself a little leeway to fight the carb cravings. It honestly hasn’t been that bad today… Friday will probably be the worst. It usually hits me in about 3 days.
I hit my protein goal, went higher on my carbs due to the dessert, and filled in with a decent amount of fat. These 63/29/8 macros weren’t terrible. Hopefully I can eat slightly less tomorrow and still be satiated. It’s time to begin losing steadily again. I still have that wedding to attend in two weeks, after all.
